Evan Romano is a journalist based in New York City, currently working as the culture editor with Men's Health magazine.
He previously worked as an SEO Specialist for Penske Media Corporation, growing organic traffic and working on content strategy for brands like Rolling Stone, Variety, IndieWire, and more. He was previously the editor of Brooklyn Magazine, beginning there as an editorial assistant. Before that, he was an online editorial intern with Rolling Stone and a print editorial intern with Esquire. Specializing in culture writing and reporting, Evan is passionate about music, television, and film—just ask about hip-hop or Star Wars, and brace yourself for a rant.
In May 2015, he graduated from The Pennsylvania State University, where he worked for three years at the award-winning student newspaper, The Daily Collegian as both a writer and editor. He has also contributed to Black Shoe Diaries, the Penn State SBNation vertical, and worked as a freelancer for UPROXX.com.
During Spring Break of his senior year, Evan spent a week in Hong Kong, working on an in-depth story about the state of the local film industry.
